Fort Selden N. Mexico/ January the 6 1868/ My Brother Edward A Wiley/ I have been awaiting an answer from/ my letters but have never never received/ answer yet. I think very hard of you for/ not answer them [?] probley you do/ not get them if you do not pardon/ me for writing so. This is my six letter I/ wrote you and never have received [answer?]/ I also sent you seventy-one Dollars. I can/ not [here?] any thing about its money.
