Soldiers are provided with transportation from 69th Street Terminal via the Salvation Army mobile canteen. Brigadier Samuel Hepburn announces that the Salvation Army will volunteer 22 mobile units and more than 500 men and women in order to transport soldiers posted at subway and elevated stops.
